Explore Bale Mountains
These six days tour from Addis Ababa offer a unique opportunity to Explore Bale Mountains, Sof Omar Cave, Ethiopian Rift Valley Lakes and Bishoftu Crater Lakes, The Bale Mountains are home to many of Ethiopia’s endemic animals, notably the Ethiopian wolf, found Sanetti plateau. The park also contains the Harenna forest, situated to the south of the mountains. The forest is also a home for different big species, lions, leopards, spotted hyenas, African hunting dogs and many others. Moreover the Bale Mountains are home for 16 endemic bird species. The park is among the most suitable walking areas in the country with a chance to see several endemic and common species at a closer distance

Day 1 | Arrival and City tour of Addis Ababa.
- Arrival at Bole international hotel
- Full day city tour of Addis Ababa
Day 2 | Addis Ababa to Bale Mountain National Parks
- Drive to Bale Mountain National Park through Ethiopian Rift Valley Lakes
- On your way visit some selected Rift Valley Lakes
Day 3 | Bale Mountain National Parks
- Game drive to Senete plateau to visit Ethiopian wolf, Menelik’s bushbuck, Ethiopian wolf, and many birds
Day 4 | Excursion to Sof Omar Cave
- Spend the day exploring the Sof Omar Cave
- It is the longest cave in Ethiopia and the largest great system in Africa through which the Weib river flows.
Day 5 | Drive back to Debrezit/Bishoftu
- Drive to Debrezeit/Bishoftu. The rest of the day is leisure time at one of Bishoftu’s Crater Lake Resort.
Day 6 | Drive back to Addis Ababa.
- Drive to Addis, shopping and cultural dinner. In the evening departure .end of the tour.
