The Omo valley has been described as a living museum with more than 18 ethnic groups representing four of Africa’s major linguistic groups. The so called Omotic –speakers are endemic to the south omo and include the Ari, Maale, Daasanach, the Hamar, Banna. The southern omo valley is undoubtedly one of the most unique places on earth with extraordinary cultural diversity. It is the haven of more than 80 ethnic groups. Day 1| Arrival – City tour of Addis Ababa
Arrival and city tour of Addis Ababa. Overnight at Addis Ababa
Day 2 | Addis – Jinka
Fly from Addis to Jinka and visit of Ari village and Omo Museum. Overnight at Jinka
Day 3 | Jinak – Mursi – Turmi
Morning visit Mursi people and in the afternoon drive to Turmi for Hammar village. Overnight at Turmi
Day 4 | Turmi – Murule & Kangaton – Turmi
Excursion to Murule for Karo and Gnagatom people. Overnight at Turmi
Day 5 | Tumri – Omorate
Morning excursion to Omorate for Dassenech People and in the afternoon explore Hammar village. Overnith at Turmi
Day 6 | Turmi – Konso
Drive to Arbaminch en route visit Erbore and Konso Villages. Overnight at Konso
Day 7 | Konso – Arbaminch
Drive to Arbaminch and Boat trip on Lake Chamo and in the afternoon leisure time. Overnight at Arbaminch
Day 8 | Arbaminch – Awassa
Morning drive to Dorze village and then to Awass. In the late afternoon admire the sunset over Lake Awassa. Overnight at Awassa
Day 9 | Awassa – Bale
Morning visit local fish market at the shore of Lake Awassa then drive to Bale. En route you will see some wild Animals Dinsho Head Quarter . overnight at Bale
Day 10 | Excursion to Senete plateau
Morning you will see some endemic wild Animals such us Minilik Bushbuck & Nyala then drive to Lake Langano. In the late afternoon admire the sunset over Lake Langano. Overnight Langano
Day 11 | Langano – Addis
After breakfast and sunbath we drive back to Addis. En route you will have relaxed Massage at Debrezeit resort then to Addis. Overnight Addis
Day 12 | Addis – Departure
leisure time, Cultural shopping and Cultural Dinner. Transfer to the airport and departure. End of the tour.
